I leveled as a white mage, so I had more to pay attention to, and did fine. You should be able to do well enough through all the content just winging it for a long time. My static team has wiped at least 60 times by now on first boss lol. I been playing casually on and off for a few years, but just started doing current savage raids for the first time and wow. The game just gets better the more you play. FF14 seems to be the only modern mmo that keeps the friendly helpful community spirit of mmo roots and I love them for it. If you were a pos nobody would group up with you so you were basically forced to quit the game lol. Old school mmos like everquest had amazing nice helpful friendly communities and part of the reason was because to get anywhere in pre wow mmos, you had to group up with people. It's not just wow, it's all blizzard games. Somewhere along the line, the blizzard community became so shitty.
This reminded me when I was playing classic wow I got too many mobs on me out in the world, ran to somebody for help and they looked directly at me and just watched me die. Holy crap! bored of quests? go hun monsters. I'm so excited to get to play ( world queue and all, lol) and to get to see something new every day. Getting to experience something new sparks so much joy. I'm only just at the end of ARR ( gotta que for pandemonium tonight) and from what I've heard it just gets better and better. I love how it transforms when you get into battle and out again seamlessly. I cant wait to get into housing! The music is perfectly done. The amount of character customization and OUTFITS ( omg, wait, I can DYE THEM!?! ) speak to my soul. Let me tell you how magical this journey has been.įirst, the game itself is beautiful. Today marks my two weeks of playing the game. I really didn't think any other game could fill what 15 years of my life had been put into.
